The tray table doesn't have runners and it's simply not possible to open a laptop in order to see the screen. The video screen in the seat-back also doesn't swing up far enough to be able to view the entertainment. I had to jam my reading glasses' case behind the screen to force it up to be able to watch the films!
I, too, will be recommending that a group for which EK has quoted does not use the airline unless economy seats are improved.
